Two cards on the poinsettia theme. The first one was cut out using a craft Robo and was far quicker to construct than the other that was cut out using the sizzix. Can't decide which one I prefer.

Photo time

Well I thought I had better try to take some more professional photos of my layouts for my blog so I set this up. BUT I still got rubbish photos!!!

I finished this one tonight

I did this layout tonight, well that is not strictly true I finished it tonight. I used pink acrylic paint to soften the edges.

I did it!!!

Well today has been rather stressful! I woke up feeling happy that I had a day to tidy my room but in reality I only had an hour and a half whilst Owain was asleep. I hope I have not disappointed some of you by not completely transforming my area. The main objective was to organise myself so all my tools were at easy reach. I am really pleased with my cunning idea for my paper but wish I had bought ten more shelves.

The big sort out

Went to Ikia today!!! My Birthday trip out. I am hoping tomorrow I can blog the after photos. The big white thing sticking out by the desk is where my papers will go. I feel a little hemmed in but if it means I can actually see my papers it will be worth it.

I am going to do it!!

I have to start using all my 'nice' papers!! All the ones you occasionally go through stroke, smell and feel warm inside about.

Naughty and Nice - Papermania

Another card made using the Papermania Naughty and Nice Christmas paper. I am not normally a fan of Papermania but I do like this range. I used the cuttlebug embossing folder on a square card and ran a strip of paper down the bit that had not been embossed, a few die cut stars, sentiment and stickles and there you go!!

I used a peel off and I liked it!!

This is one of the Christmas cards I made recently. The idea is lifted from Papercraft essentials issue 33 page 55. The snowflakes on the pink card have been clear embossed as have the stars. I then dotted around them with a white Gelly Roll. One thing I am still not sure of is the silver peel off sentiment!! I really do hate peel offs BUT I think I may have got away with it here.

Tilda Card

I made this card a while ago but have not got round to blogging it. I really enjoyed making this card and it came together very quickly. It does seem to have an identity crisis, by this I mean is it a Christmas card ?
The glittery circle was made using a monogram stamper and then some stickles was added.

Does this mean I can't go to the party?

Well I don't think I should have got out of bed today!! I was up stairs and Jess and Owain were playing horsies in the living room, Owain fell off and banged his head on the TV cabinet. I heard thud and Jess saying " Owain has got red bits all over him." There was a lot of blood but he didn't seemed that bothered. Jess' main concern was that she would not be able to go to her friends Birthday party. It turned out we were only in the hospital for an hour, he only needed a bit of glue and Jess got to go to the party.

So here it is..

I seem to be spending a great deal of time on the computer at the moment and not actually doing a great deal of craft. I move from one thing to the next not actually getting anything done. I live in a constant state of not knowing what to do and subsequently get nothing done. I dream and read about all these wonderful ideas but do nothing about them. The house is my biggest bug at the moment I only feel I am able to do something if the whole house is spotless. So saying that I am off to clean.

Ok I have worked it out I can blog via my e-mail so much quicker.

Jess and Ed

Here is the instalment that was written into Ed's diary

I spent a fun packed weekend with Jessica. Unfortunately it rained most of the time, so were unable to play outside.
When Jessica’s Mummy saw me with Jess she was so pleased that Jess had been such a good girl at school, and was very proud. Jess made me feel at home and made sure I joined in with all the games that her and her brother Owain were playing. Jessica’s cousins Neddy and Alex came round to tea, we had jelly for pudding! Unfortunately the jelly would not come out of the mould, but it still tasted yummy. When bedtime came Neddy and Jess were rather excited and kept me awake.
In the morning I was extremely tired because I had not slept much the night before. I did manage to have a little nap on the way to Jessica’s Granny’s house in Midhurst. We played all day long and had a delicious dinner. That night we all went to sleep straight away.
On Sunday we visited Jessica’s Nanna’s house and had fun playing. I had to go shopping in the afternoon but we went to Run About afterwards, so that made up for it!!
I had a fantastic weekend.
Love Ed
